Scavenger Hunt 106 is drawing to a close. I got a few more sketches done.
Number 7, What I carry my art stuff in - the bag just posed for me. The bag is soft and scrunches down, don't know how it sat straight. Hmmm. With a Micron 05 pen in my sketchbook. About 15 minutes. (I never time these and it always seems like 15 minutes, between commercials?? May be more like 20.)
Number 8, Three things in a row. A decorated tin, a bottle of Gene's white wine without a label, and a glass. Again the same pen and about the same time, really! And, a challenge - negative space painting. This is a plant in a round pot. The spot in the center is where you see through the leaves. It looks like a bug and the plant looks like a large bug or deformed rabbit. Weird....

Jo: I always enjoy the sketches, the outline plant is really different.
fishing guy, it is always interesting to look at the negative shapes around things. They help make a painting interesting. But like this, you might end up with a weird shape or "face" like the ghost in your clouds. :)
