It was a little hard to do without internet access for four days. Not as bad as I thought it would be, though. I missed visiting with you.
We went to Arizona. We stayed busy visiting with Gene's brother. Over eating, talking and golfing. Roger only plays with us so it is always fun to get out on the courses. He can hit the ball so far, he would really be amazing with practice. He was a bull rider and is enjoying golf and says as he is hunting for balls in the rough, "Those bull riders think they have it tough!"
I am the host for
Scavenger Hunt 95. I hadn't planned on traveling this week, but they have managed a wonderful batch of sketches including some by a new member, Ai, from Thailand. Round the world sketching going on. Yes! I did a few sketches in Arizona and one this evening while taking a break from trying to catch up on the e-mail and blogs. It has been fun to have "new" items to sketch away from home.

Number 3, file cabinet. None here or at Roger's, so used the folding file we brought on our trip for the summer. The top flap grew, but you get the idea. These sketches are done with Micron 005 pens in my regular sketchbook. These all took about 15 minutes each.

Number 4, pet. Roger's bird dog, Tripper. She is the nicest dog and keeps a close watch on the birds that dare come in the yard. And they do dare. They like the hot peppers that Roger grows. Number 5, sandals with the challenge of having them on my feet.

Number 6, stack of napkins and Number 7, chopping board and knife. I decided to do some cloth napkins and couldn't decide which knife so did two. Truthfully, I was more interested in drinking a glass of wine and relaxing. You can tell! Nice to be back to the cool climate and on-line again.

I know how you feel about having internet access. Hmm, a bullrider/golfer...He sounds like some of the cowboys I know.
I love the sketches - especially the pet.
Bag Blog, thank you. I am trying to make sketching a habit. Hard to do. Posting has helped to "guilt" me into doing it. :) Roger is a special guy, no doubt. Ha.
Bag Blog, could be Roger golfs with us as we don't enjoy the bulls like he does. Ha. That was a younger life as well. Injuries catch up with you.
