Hunting Again, Number 93

I'm back to the Scavenger Hunts! I have missed a few with my show (I'll post about that probably tomorrow) and moving to New Mexico. It is nice and cool here and all is well.

My first sketches for Hunt #93. I have been Scavenger Hunting for over a year. This is the longest I have been away. I have missed at least two and put only one sketch on two more I think. New readers can read about my Hunting here. It is fun and a good way to find ideas for objects to sketch.

These were done with a Micron 005 pen in my regular sketchbook for the Hunts. Number 1, a transparant container with something in it. Cookies left by our lovely landlady for our arrival. About 30 minutes.

Number 2, a plant. The grape vines on the fence from the deck of the nice house we are in. :) About 20 minutes. It was nice on the deck enjoying the evening with Gene and a glass of wine. I took a little longer with the sketches than I normally do.

Really nice sketching, Jo - your fence and grape vine have a great shape. And how nice of your landlady to leave cookies!

fishing guy, thanks for stopping by. I am on-line with my computer so should be able to read some blogs myself after sharing with Gene and no internet for about 3 days. :(

Hi Regina, thank you. We had cookies, cupcakes for breakfast, bananas, cereal, beer, ice cream, etc. Pretty nifty.

Your sketches are wonderful, I need to draw more. I just thin down paint and dive right in.

Thanks Barbara. I do try to sketch often and quickly with no erasing so I use ink. I keep hoping it will make me "look" better and paint with a firm, sure hand. I do know that I am quicker at the sketches now and my perspective has improved when I pay attention. :)
