Sad State of Affairs, Baseball

The Longhorns have lost their last two games. Heart breakers for Horns and fans. Wednesday they lost to UT Arlington 3-4 and last night to Oklahoma State 1-2 in 11 innings. Last night, Chance Ruffin, freshman, pitched 10 great innings. Michael Torres tied the all time record for hitting in 24 consecutive games. It just wasn't to be, I guess. You can read about the games on Joanna's blog and on the official page.

It is interesting how things "don't" come together. They played great and looked good as a team!! Today is another day.

Hook em Horns!!

The OSU game seems to have been a good one. My son graduated from OSU so we cheer for them over OU.

bag blog, Ah, I suppose you would be for them. :) OK State won again today. The first time the Horns have been swept in a series since 1995. Ah, my.

Not quite. It was the first time they'd been swept in a 3-game series at home since 1996. They have been swept in a few 3-game "away" series since then.

Joanna, oops! I misheard I suppose, and didn't make clear at home or not. Still awful....and sad. Certainly not the norm for the Horns.
