I'm tapering off from the Scavenger Hunts, but it is quiet now and too late to paint, so here we go.
Scavenger Hunt 64, #1, Flower Pot or plant outside. These are the Bolivian pots that I have drawn/painted many times. These two are about 36 and 24 inches high or so. When you see them out of the corner of your eye, you may think that some ladies are sitting there chatting. They are very heavy, made of cement. We have them painted a terracotta color. 15 minutes, Micron 005 pen.

#2 lampshade, #3 something that starts with a "y" Gene's lamp and some yeast left from the Thanksgiving rolls. The rolls smelled sooooo good. I'm not eating gluten, so could only smell. 20 minutes total, Micron 005.

#4 today's mail. Well, it was Friday or Saturday's mail, a postcard. No mail on Sunday! They are starting an art walk in Elgin one Saturday a month. Interesting. 20 minutes, Micron 005

Hi Jo,
Your scavenger art posts are very interesting. Was this a plot to get everyone sketching from life every day? Could you speak a bit to what, if anything you have learned from doing this?
Thanks, nancy
Hi Nancy,
I have posted snippets at times, but will be glad to post about this. I'm off to write!
Thanks for stopping by and with the idea.
Jo
It's very sad that you couldn't eat any of the rolls, Mom, 'cause they were *very* good. Yummmmm...
Joanna,
It is sad, but there were many other good things and having you all here was so special.
