Sketches for Hunt 50, Schedules.. bah!

We won't talk about how behind I am, mostly with my art paperwork. Guess I have to get out the notebook. See Maggie Stiefvater's blog about using a notebook to be organized. Follow her link to "How to Juggle" as well. It has some great ideas and will inspire you to get organized.

I just don't have the drive/interest to get organized. I'm trying to be comfortable with the way I do my art. I know I do not want to give up the retired easy life we have, I don't want to be on schedules and deadlines. Sometimes, though, I think I should work harder at perfecting my art work and not be so lazy. I feel a little guilty that I procrastinate. Then I think, "Why not?" I'm of an age to take it easy, right? I received my welcome to Medicare. Anyway, back to my sketches.

I have been doing the Scavenger Hunts for over a year now. Amazing in itself. I actually filled a couple of sketchbooks and started several new ones. So that is something. I have mentioned several times before that I usually sketch in pen and ink. I try to sketch fairly accurately, to look and then draw. I am impatient and sometimes just draw and end up off the page ... like tonight (I'll post this tomorrow).

For Scavenger Hunt 50 sketch #2, Crackers or cookies. These are the Nut Thins I have for snacks, Micron 005 in my NY Sketchbook.

Sketch #3, Something you can adjust, the screen on my iBook., Micron 005 in my NY Sketchbook about 10 minutes.

Off, to post these on wetcanvas.com. See you tomorrow .. hopefully.
