It was interesting that the bottles were the same brand but were different. The one on the left was clear and the one on the right was a little opaque but not solid.

We are still looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area. We have tried in Bastrop, Elgin and Giddings. Bastrop has a buffet which is not our idea of good. Elgin was the best but wasn’t consistent. We decided to go to the Kyoto in Bastrop. It is more an Asian restaurant with Chinese, Japanese and ?? I had sushi and tempura veggies and Gene had a combo lo mein. Dinner was nice and very good. The food is always very pretty! The restaurant is small and it was crowded. We will go earlier next time. We hit the dinner crowd. They have a lot of take out orders. They were very busy with that the whole time we were there. Kyoto https://www.kyotobastrop.com/

Joanna (not so anonymous) - The food was excellent! It would have been more relaxed if we had gone a little earlier and beat the crowd. Kyoto is always consistent in quality and service if a tad expensive.
