Shady Sketches

Items for the Hunt 125 were branch and gives shade.  I sketched out the living room window for the branches on the Loblolly pine and turned the other way for the corner of the porch.

Number 5 branch
Number 6 shade

These are in the Canson Drawing sketchbook, small for travel, with the Acurit 03 pen.

Gene has PT today and I will get groceries while he works out.  Get in my steps!!  Hopefully I won't take long.  He doesn't have patience for waiting!!  It will be hot, over 100º so he will have to wait inside.  I ordered groceries to just pick them up, but I guess I didn't run the card so the time wasn't reserved and not there aren't any times for this evening.  I think with the remodeling of the store, they don't have as much space for holding the orders and getting them to the cars.  I imagine I will buy more things not on the list.  Maybe that is their plan, too!

I always like your Loblolly sketches. Nice to have them as part of your view. Hope you were able to get the groceries you needed without Gene having to wait too long.

Thanks, Joan. The trees are special. Grocery shopping is something I'm not fond of, Gene used to do it. I did get in my steps, with the remodeling I missed a couple of things and did the whole store 2.5 times. Got in about 4,000 steps. It will be great. They are adding a BBQ area and more Superstore items. They have an app for shopping which really helps, shows the aisle numbers so you can put your list in order ... shouldn't miss anything. I just thought I needed milk and eggs which are close and then I was happy to find the milk and didn't look at that part of the list until the end. Oops, forgot the eggs.
