Screwy Sketch

Screw was an item on the Scavenger Hunt.  I haven't sketched a cork screw in a while so dug one out.  We hardly ever drink bottles of wine.  We keep Franzia wine in boxes.  It is great wine and keeps for weeks since no air gets in the container.  The Cabernet is from Chile and the Chardonnay is from California.  Both are excellent.  This is a good way to have a glass of wine a day and not have a bottle go bad.  Of course you can use bad wine to clean windows.

Number 5 screw - old cork screw in the BookFactory Sketchbook with a Micron 02.

This is the last sketch in that book.  Fun and a sense of accomplishment when I finish a sketchbook. It was a good one with regular paper so no markers or watercolor.  I started it in May 2021, a gift from Joanna.  I didn't sketch in it much until 2023, July.  I guess I had too many books going at the time.

Nice work on the screwy bottle opener. I have a few of them around and use them from time to time. You are good at getting the indoor items sketched. I'm more likely to do things I can find outdoors.

Joan, thank you for stopping in. Yep, I tend to sketch mostly at home. I need to broaden my horizons! You do that splendidly.

Nice sketch. You've had a corkscrew like that for as long a I can remember. :-)

(not-so-anonymous) Joanna, for sure, we have had to have one. Even in the car for hotel stays and picnics, etc. No picnics for years, where did that idea come from in my head. The corkscrews have come in handy. It does have a regular bottle opener, too. Evil grin.
