Cube Sketch

An item for the Hunt was cube.  Joanna got a Longhorn Rubic's cube in her stocking and forgot it here.  It looks like it will be hard with black and white on opposite sides, orange with white on adjacent sides and white with orange on the other two adjacent sides.  It seemed fairly easy to sketch.  Ha.

I started the sketch a couple of times and finally decided to just go with it.  Sad perspective.  After I finished and took the photo I could see the perspective much better.  Of course I don't sketch from photos.  It was interesting at any rate.

Number 3 cube - Joanna's gift from Santa in the BookFactory sketchbook with a Pilot ball point pen.

It is easy for me to see the perspective here in the photo.  Of course I don't sketch from photos for the Hunts. The watercolor in the background is our card from Lou and Toby Baggett.  I love the oak tree and bluebonnets!  Perfect.  Hoping it will inspire me.

We are maybe over our colds.  It will be a pretty nice day tomorrow so we will get out to the Post Office in McDade and eat lunch there.  It is strange that we have been in the house for so many days.  Yikes.  It will get colder again on the weekend and then maybe rain for a couple of days starting Sunday night. Well, after all it is winter time.

Hug your children, call your family and friends.  Let them know you care and are thinking of them.  We never know what's on the horizon.
