Hey, it may be under 100º F today. For 2 days. We've had 100º + for 66 days in a row. So sketching on the porch and an item to find was "found right next to you". For some reason it reminds me of an old song, Close to You, by the Carpenters. You can listen on YouTube while you read.

Number 6, found next to you - binoculars
Today we were on the porch but came in when the temp got high. I sketched on my footstool in front of the TV with a Micron 02 in the BookFactory sketchbook.
Number 7 something with a handle - the red pot with a glass lid has a handle on the lid and the long handle on the pot. Not a great design with such a long handle. The handle on the lid gets in the way as well. The set of pots is red so that was the main selling point. I only have a couple of them left. We bought them after the fire and the non stick coating wore off on the pots I used the most.
Number 8 bottle - Gene's gift of wine for his birthday, it is Ride, Cabernet Suavingnon
Number 9 something with holes - a ceramic garlic jar

Yikes...66 days!!! That is a little too warm for me...even with access to the pool.
I like your sketch of the wine, garlic jar and pot. The label looks great!
Oh my Jo 66 days of such heat. It is a wonder you have the energy to sketch. Great ones friend. The binoculars are something I like having close to me when I am walking outdoors. Thank you for sharing your memories of your childhood home in New Mexico. That sounds like a lovely place to grow up. My hubby and I have always wanted to visit that state. Well please take care and stay cool. Congratulations to your hubby on his birthday. Checked out your previous post. Love his shirt! Hugs
Joan, ha! Thanks, I like still life painting.
Debbie, thanks. Gene loves his shirts. They sometimes get the conversation rolling.
