I finally gathered up all the items for the Scavenger Hunt and did my sketch. The challenge was to put all 26 items in one sketch. I talked about the challenge and sketching it before here just a few days ago.

Here is my sketch from today. I put it in the large Canson watercolor sketchbook planning to use watercolor and ink. I started with the wine bottle and it was smaller than I intended so all the sketch was smaller. It is about 8 x 10 inches. I don't have any tiny watercolor brushes so decided on colored pencil. That wasn't much better as the watercolor paper is rough for the pencils. Sigh....

And the photo:
I left the yellow box cutter thing out of the photo when I was moving the items around.
Some of the items I used again. The Texas plate, the pewter vase (the only vase we own), the Bolivian doll, the copper church (again about the only copper small thing we have) were used again. A few other items were in one or the other of the first two drawings. The books are Christy's and Jennie's wedding books that Larry did the photos for. It was fun to Hunt the items.
Here was my list:

If there are any items you do not have, feel free to substitute with whatever you wish. Try to come as close as you can to a requested object.
For the favorite gemstone or rock, I chose a rose rock from Oklahoma. They are very unique. I thank my Oklahoma friend.

Bravo!!! You did a nice job on this! I couldn't organize myself to get all the items together. lol Too much planning.
Thanks, Joan. I don't do much planning, just time to gather the items. I forgot the yellow in the photo and the rock I think. Sigh.....
