Uniform and stripes were a couple of items on the Hunt this time. I was going to get out the pastels but didn't want to carry them to the porch with easel, etc. So watercolor and pen it is.
Number 2 uniform - the potatoes are pretty uniform in size
Number 3 stripes - napkin
I did the sketch with the Micron 03, then added a quick coloring with watercolors, then highlighted with the Ohuhu 05. This is a little over half a page in the Ohuhu Mix Media sketchbook, 10 x 7.6 inches. Probably about 30 minutes total.
Oh, I finished the ArtStreet sketchbook. It had 60 sheets, typing paper size. I couldn't use both sides on all pages as the markers or ink seeped through in some of the sketches. A few of the back pages used to keep score when we play cards and make notes from classes or the doctors. It's fun to look back a couple of years to see who won when we played cards at Christmas or ...... Always fun to complete something!
Off to do paperwork. Ugh. Hopefully I will get it done or at least put a dent in it.

This is a great sketch of potatoes and striped napkins. Your dedication to doing these is always inspiring. Between you and Joan - it keeps me more dedicated too. Have a lovely week. P.S. Bet it is fun to look back on those pages and return to what was happening then. Hugs!
Debbie, thanks so much. Joan and I have been doing the Hunts since 2006. It has kept my hands and eyes in shape for painting. The sketchbook was started at our son's in Kentucky in 2020 so has some good memories!
Jo, I like your take on uniform. That never crossed my mind. I'm still looking for someone in uniform to sketch. lol I like your striped towel. We have been doing the hunts for a long time! Those were the days that I would finish all 26 items most of the time. I'm in Maine visiting family now, but my sketching materials are out in the car, not in the house. Too much going on with the little kids from Australia to have another bag of anything around. Sketched yesterday and today. Will have to see if anything fits the hunts and take photos.
Joan, I was thinking of uniform, like my winter uniform is jeans and sweatshirts, then thought of uniform size. Whew.
Yes we used to be more ambitious for the list, but you do so much more now. All your groups and painting.
Have a great time with your family. Wonderful!! We have one more day with our great grands.
