Hunt 66 Already

We already have a new Hunt!  I went for  breakfast tacos and had about 5 minutes to sketch while I waited.  Finished at home.  I sketched in the travel sketchbook with the Acurit 05 pen.  No time for color and it has lots of red.  Maybe next time.

You can click on the image to see it a bit larger.

Number 1, one wheel - at least one wheel is showing.
Number 2, unique to our town - Rena's food trailor.  Should be trailer I imagine.  Sigh.

We did get the porch arranged so we sat out there last night and this morning.  So nice to be able to do that.

Baseball tonight in Austin.  Will watch on the Longhorn network.  50% chance of thunderstorms.  We shall see what happens.  The Horns are playing Texas Southern.  Hook 'em Horns!

I realize I didn't post my last digi sketch for Hunt 65.

Number 7 round - gourd from Peru - Kathy bought this for her aunt when she came to visit us and they decided to return it to us.  Fun.  Digital on my iPad with the app, Brushes.

I have a couple of those carved gourds - one from Peru and one from Ecuador. Mine don't have a stem. You captured the gourd great.

I remember doing these hunts on wetcanvas. I should start doing them again. Thanks for sharing.

You resisted adding red to your sketch??? Certain colors are just made to be seen! Breakfast tacos sound so yummy!

bag blog, thank you. You know how delicate the carvings are. So amazing, equal distance apart, even and gorgeous. Not like my sketch!

John, thank you. You know about working with the thin wood! Must be similar.

Joan, I didn't have time for color and when I got home I ate right away. Ha. I should get a photo so I can add the color now. Her food is so good. I like Frito pie and she does it well. In Texas they don't put lettuce, tomatoes, onions and grated cheese. They just put the chile and the nacho melted cheese stuff. She adds the fresh goodies for me! It does make a difference.

Helen, I've been doing the Hunts since 2006. My homework! The Hunts keep me going. You do wonderful sketches and would fit right in. We did move from wetcanvas to creativespark.art Wetcanvas was supposed to disappear and I guess it is still there. There were thousands of artists on wetcanvas. Not so many on spark.
