It was time to get back to ink and get a sketch done quickly. You can tell it was quick. I sketched freehand with a Micron 03 in the ArtStreet sketchbook. I used most of the page making it about 8 x 10 inches.
Number 3 plastic - the flags
Number 4 coin
Number 5 transparent - the container. This is a coin counter and adds up how much money is in the container. I think Gene just opens it and puts in the coins now.
Number 6 metal - the stapler

The Longhorn baseball team is playing the New Orleans Privateers this weekend. It is cold and windy so I'm pretty sure we will be watching on TV! We are just too old to sit in the stands and freeze. Joanna and I have watched the games live and in person in 40º F weather, but not anymore! Hook 'em Horns!!
Oh, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Top O' the Mornin!

I found your site by accident but glad I did. I like pen work and love your sketch. It's a timely reminder that I really need to do more sketching.
Hope you had a good St. Patrick's Day. It was Jerry's birthday so we did a little celebrating at home. He's not one to go out on big holidays when people will be drinking (and driving) so we had lobster rolls, clams, and cocktails.
Cute way to incorporate a few items.
Good sketch Jo
ashok, thanks. This was fun, sometimes sketching is like homework!
Joan, thanks. Sounds like a perfect meal for the birthday celebration. Happy Birthday to Jerry. I have to find a place to try the lobster rolls. We do get PoBoys here but crawfish isn't the same, ha. We have a high school friend, Patrick, born on St. Patrick's Day and it is easy to remember to call him every year! Hugs to you both.
John, how nice you found my blog. Drawing is so good for me, but I usually just sketch. I'm too impatient to do finished drawings. You have some beautiful ones on your page. The motorcycle is so fine. I like pastels and sketching as I don't have to watch paint dry. Welcome.
