The winters in Bastrop, Texas, are very mild. There are very few days that you can't get out to trike, golf or walk. As a result our fall colors are pretty sad most years. In the years we have lived here, which is about 25 - yikes, there have been only a few times that the world went colorful. It seems we get only a few trees at a time.
This year, the little tree we planted about 10 years ago was a pretty orange. I sketched it in the big book with a Sharpie pen and colored pencil.

#5 leaves
I posted a photo in the last post of this tree. I lost more leaves yesterday in the wind.
This was at McKinney Falls, between here and Austin a few years ago. We do get fall once in a while.

After we moved down to McAllen, years ago, I went home for a visit to Wichita Falls. That's when I realized that the seasons in McAllen had not changed and I missed that.
Bag Blog, I don't miss seasons. I do not like to be cold. Ha.
doesnt change colours a lot here, most of the trees stay green all year or the leaves just die and fall without colour
