The Inktober list holds my idea for today, suit. I immediately thought of an old one piece bathing suit I have. When we lived in Phoenix, I swam almost everyday. Now, it has been a few years. I should sign up for water aerobics, right? Too lazy, right? Traveling back and forth to an activity is something I'm not fond of. Seems such a waste of time. I'm happy wasting time all on my own, not paying someone else to waste it for me.
For Inktober, Day 2 - suit and for Scavenger Hunt 696, Number 2 - cloth doubling up for the sketch of my swimsuit.
This is sketched in the big coffee table sketchbook with Micron and Zig Millenneum pens. I started with the Zig blue which was darker. I didn't check right away. When I discovered the Micron was a lighter blue I went to that for the base color adding the darker for shadows. I'm pretty well pleased with the results. Too bad I didn't start with the lighter blue.
We hear that Whataburger is having the green chile burgers again so guess that will be our lunch today. Yummy.
Hope you are having a great weekend. Texas is ahead of TCU at halftime so that is good.

I gave up exercise class in town because of the travel and the sweat. When I go to town, I usually have several errands to run. I don't like changing clothes before or after exercise. Waste of time is right. The blue bathing suit sketch is nice. I'm not sure why you didn't put it on to draw it...
Bag Blog, you are so funny! I haven't had the suit on in a few years. It might not hold together. Can't see how big it is in the sketch ... good thing.
I love going to.the pool in our development in the summer, using my pool noodle and kicking for exercise. I miss it after it closes but I know if I joined somewhere that has an indoor pool I would be too lazy to drive there and then have to shower before I leave to come home or do anything else...never mind what would happen if it was cold. lol
Joan, I can understand going to a pool. Hard enough to do exercise at home and clean up after. Nice you have a place for the summer.
