Inktober Day 13 found us in Smithville. We ate at the Blazer's Bar and Grill. It was good, pretty average. "Roof" was the prompt so we drove around looking for a good and different roof ... well we found it.
I took a photo and sketched in the big book at home with a Sharpie Pen. It was a challenge free hand to get all the different sections of roof. I could have drawn it in pencil first with a ruler but that ain't me. Mary said it looks haunted in my sketch.
And the real thing. There is even a little bay window by the porch. Someone went crazy with roofs and decorations on it. I guess that is a little star gazing balcony on top.
Inktober Day 14, tick - I thought of ticking off the days of October on my fingers with a double for the Scavenger Hunt. In the big book with a Lamy pen.

I hate when houses have so many different roof lines...give us a break! lol Glad you gave it a go freehand!
Nice choice and drawing on the roof. I am still thinking on the "tick." Who comes up with these prompts?!
Joan, Ha! I was looking for a different roof, but didn't expect that different! Looks like the builders would get all confused..... I'd like to see the inside of the upstairs.
Bag Blog, Thanks. My niece, Mary, drew a clock with a mouse running up. She sent me some of the ones she saw. One was a tick/bug getting drunk with a wine glass and bottle of 0 Negative. One had a tick/bug on a clock. Another had a baby on the hour hand of a pocket watch, an old lady on the minute hand and an angel on the second hand and called it, Tick tock, time flies. Clever I guess it is all in interpretation and I have no imagination.
I did tick as in feather ticking - so dull.
Bag Blog, I think tick in feather ticking is clever. Don't see much of that anymore. I like the idea. Maybe 'cause I'm old.
