A couple of sketches, one in pastel of a sad elephant and one of wet - a cup of water.
I tried to sketch a little amber colored glass elephant quickly in pastel. I am not satisfied with it but not interested in working on it on the paper I was using. I had a piece of MiTientes paper, the dirty blue color, and used the smoother side. Maybe I would have had better luck on dark paper so the glass would shine more. My added dark color didn't help. I will post so you can see that not all ideas and plans work out.
For Scavenger Hunt 693.
Number 7, elephant
Number 8, wet - my new double layer plastic cup with water. I like that you don't have to use a coaster with the insulated cup. A gift from Brandon and Jennie.
I am the host for the new Scavenger Hunt 694, September 15 - 23. I made a list of one word names of Texas Towns. That was fun to look over the list. Here you go. Join us in sketching. Ideas for your sketchbook.

Texas has some good town names.
good list of things to sketch 😀
Bag Blog, there are so many good names. Interesting like Atlanta, Paris, Boerne (sounds like Burny), Socorro (help) and on and on. I bet Oklahoma has some good ones, too.
Jennifer Rose, the towns do make a good list. Fun to check out.
