Post Ink Sketch

You will recall that the Scavenger Hunt 694 list is Texas towns.  "Post" is on the list.  Hmmm, I thought of post like mail, post like a blog post, post like where you stand guard.  There are probably others.   Yes, like English riding a horse.  Anyhoo, I decided on this sketch in the big book with a Sharpie pen.  Freehand as always from the dining table looking toward the easterly pond across the yard.

Number 3, post - the rain gauge post and the fence posts.  The dark spots on the paper are wrinkles where it was wet for the previous sketch of the big tree with Inktense pencils.  I should have only sketched on one side of the paper in the big book.  I would have been finished ages ago, right?

Short and sweet for the weekend.  We are expecting Joanna to come by this afternoon.  Hope your weekend is swell.

Hi, Joan. Thanks so much. We did enjoy the afternoon and went for some Italian food at a local restaurant, Basssano's. Sooooo good.

I like doing posts in watercolor or pastel with some sunflowers around them - this is the season for those flowers.

Bag Blog, yes, especially old posts are fun to do in color. You got me thinking now.

R's Rue, oh, thank you. Always fun to play with art tools!

Jennifer Rose, If I had started on one side of the page, no one would have thought anything of it. Ha. Now it is cheating for sure.
