Hunting Associations

After I wrote the title, I realized that sounds like an association of hunters.  Of course, it is not in my world.  Joe from Florida, gave us a list for Scavenger Hunt 692 with the challenge of associating the item and finding a new item to sketch.  He used the idea of:

something with 2 sides - paper - money - coins - coin jar - peanut butter - sandwich, two sides  You don't have to end up with 2 sides, you could stop at any point like peanut butter.

That is way too much for my brain, so I just sketched the items on the list.

You can click on images to see them larger.

Number 1 something plastic - small container of cookies
Number 2 something drab - paper bag

These are in the coffee table book drawn with a Sharpie Pen.

The last sketch for Hunt 691 was digital on my iPhone with the app, Brushes.

Number 7, fog - a view off the porch toward the easterly lake/pond.

You are like me...don't tax my brain...sketching is enough. lol Good thinking for drab. I like your foggy painting.

Joan, thanks. You do get out and about and sketch much more than I do, though. Ha.

I like your choices for the sketches Jo...especially the cookie container. Were the cookies good?😉

I like the drab bag. Years ago a lady was taking watercolor lessons from me and she brought a photo of a park with trees and a bench all in fog. The photo was very purple - pinkish, maybe early morning or late evening. When I said as much, she looked at me as if I were crazy. I don't know what color she saw. Your green foggy painting reminded me of that :)

Debbie, thank you so much. The cookies are great, made by daughter, Joanna, for her Dad's birthday.

Bag Blog, Ha, thanks. It is amazing how much color I see. Evidently you are the same. I'm happy for that!
