Fruit in Big Book Sketch

I sketched in the big book today.  For some reason I counted the pages that are left and it is about 90.  Whew.  Maybe I can finish by Christmas and give it back to Jennie.  She gave it to me several years ago for Christmas and I put in the first sketch on January 1, 2016.

Number 3, fruit(s) apple, bananas, Clementines and cherries.  Yummy models, especially the cherries.  It is really too late for Clementines.

This was sketched with a Pilot ballpoint pen that I use at my desk for writing mainly.  It left a few fuzzy dollops which is unusual for that type pen.  Just hadn't been used in a while I guess.

Cooking a bit today for our birthday celebration and Independence day tomorrow.  Making the cake today.  Making a carrot cake with maple cream cheese frosting.  A big favorite around here.

Happy Birthday, Joanna.

Happy Independence Day all around.

Birthday wishes to nephews Jerry and Cody as well.  Yay!!

Jennifer, I'm hoping to get it done. When she gave it to me, she said I could probably finish in a year or two. Ha.

You mentioned your Mexican food dinner that was requested by the birthday lady. What did she choose?

Bag Blog, Joanna likes beans and rice. We have red chile and tortillas with it. We also had enchilada casserole which is just enchiladas in a pan with New Mexico chile so not a Tex Mex dish. Carrot cake for dessert with Maple cream cheese frosting. We also have a fruit salad with fresh fruit mainly for Joanna and Larry. Good food as you know the New Mexico chile is the difference.
