New Hunt 618

The New Hunt 618 is on.  It is always a challenge to sketch something new, especially in the big sketchbook.  It has 300 pages.  I'm a little over half done.  I started in January 2016.  Jennie bought it for me for Christmas with the idea to finish in a couple of years.... and give it back to her.  So much for that.

I don't do all my sketches in it, but in the hopes of finishing, I try to do most of the sketching in it.  The sketchbook doesn't take watercolor well and of course no pastels.  I have sketched almost everything we own in it and the trees and ponds countless times.  It is not convenient to take outside or in the car,  but I did take it to Angel Fire a couple of times so there are a few things on the road.

Number 1, mess - my computer desk and shelves in the big book with a Micron 02.  I should have used a pen with a larger nib to do all that 'stuff'.

I need to clean my studio and desk.  The shelves are full, too.

The Hunt itself is recycled this time.  It is from January 2010.  We were in the other house so the sketches from that time are not in this book.

I did sketch my favorite "Apple" in 2010.  You know I like to paint apples.

Fun to see what other people have surrounding them when they sketch. I had a chuckle over your "apple". Thanks for being so supportive. Jerry has a long way to go but will probably be sent to rehab tomorrow. We are checking out places for him.

Joan, thank you. I think I said on the first sketch that the iMac is my favorite apple. What a time you are having. Hope you get a good rehab close to you. A friendly caring environment will be welcome. Thinking of you for that. Hugs.
