Inktober Day 26 and Animal Sketch

No double prompt for today.  Inktober Day 26 is dark.

Sketched in the big book, half page with Prismacolor Brush Pen and a Micron 02.

For Scavenger Hunt 607  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1472368

Number 2, animal - a little ceramic pig from Chile.  It's about 2 to 2 1/2  inches tall.  Gene used to buy these little animals at O'Higgins park.  There was a culinary school there where we would go to lunch.  The school trained chefs and wait persons so lunch would be 5 courses or more with 2 or 3 waiters.  Good and fun.  I must have had 30 or so of the ceramic pieces.  They were very bright blue and white.  The fire dimmed and dulled down the ones we found.

I sketched on the other half page with dark in the big book with Zig Millennium 05 and Inktense pencils.  The paper warped a little but the inks didn't go through the page as much as yesterday with the Sharpie pens.

Joan, thank you. I envy folks that can make long straight lines in hatching. Fun to try.

I think you should use the work admire instead of envy Jo. Envy has a bad connotation.

Gene, thanks for the comment. Evidently admire is the better verb for what I mean. Thanks for pointing that out. I do wonder if they use a ruler or what to get the lines. They must have steady hands either way.

lovely dark moody piece for the prompt :)

Jennifer Rose, thank you. I may use more of the brush and chisel pens in my other sketchbooks with heavier paper. It is neat and more dramatic.
