Back Home

Sketching in the big coffee table book is the thing when we are home.  The last sketch in that sketchbook was on July 5, a long absence.

For Scavenger Hunt 603  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1471132

Number 1, this - this opener
Number 2, those - those two little stools, weird looking in my sketch

Number 3, that - that computer (Gene's)
Number 4, these - these earrings and rings

Two more pages done, yay!

When we got home there was a big storm in Houston and east Texas.  Our sky looked like mountains instead of clouds.

Getting organized after a trip takes longer and longer because we are older and older.  That's my story!  Maybe you will get to hear more about our trip.

Welcome Home! Re-entry always has its bumps. 😁

Wonderful sketches, Jo. It's always nice getting home.. and yes, not fun getting older.. I was supposed to be going to Arizona maybe a little hiking since my hubby on vacation. HOWEVER, I developed Plantar fasciitis and I'm lucky to be walking so we cancelled the trip. So now I'll be visiting therapy instead of vacation!!! lol

Rose, thanks. I'll remember your comment about re-entry. :-)

hmuxo, Oh, thank you. Rats on the foot problem. Not a hiking condition for sure. Take care, thinking of you!

the big book is def too big to be lugging around to draw in, takes up too much packing space :p

Glad you are home safe and sound. The stories of the rain and flooding in Houston were scary. I can't remember the last time we actually had a heavy rain here. Even when they forecast rain we've barely had showers. Getting resettled after traveling isn't that bad...at least you can do it slowly.

Jennifer Rose, the book is big but I took it last year. I also had it in the briefcase, one that looks like it was made for it, and left it on the couch. It was nice to get some different things in it last year.

Joan, yes, flooding is scary. We saw some flash flooding along the border on our way back from Arizona. We missed it by a day. We had only one shower during the Houston storm. You are right about taking our time unpacking, trouble is I over do that. Ha.
