Sketch for the Birds...Pbftt..

We were out on the porch this morning.  It is cloudy/foggy and cool.  We have to use these days to our advantage.  I came in to get my sketch stuff and Gene said the birds were out if it fit my list.  Well, on Scavenger Hunt 586 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1465494  I found feather and rain.

I sketched quickly with a Prismacolor 03 in the big book.  The birds do not stay still of course, but we had a variety.  The cardinals were there, haven't seen them too much yet.  A scissortail on the fence and some others.  Gene spotted the hawk but he went into the trees and now with leaves we can't see it until it flies. You can't tell what they are from my sketch so I labeled them.  Pbftt...

We had a big rain a few days ago, the day before the list came out with "rain" on it, so I sketched the rain gauges that Gene has on a fence post in the yard and the electronic gadget we read in the house.
