It is pretty cold, in the 40s this morning, and windy. Not a good day to be out and about. We are having too many of these lazy days and Hallmark movie days. Besides the lazy part, my procrastination takes over and pushes me toward .... well, nothing.
Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday. - Don Marquis
This quote from one of my puzzles "inspired" me to check the list which came out yesterday for Scavenger Hunt 574
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?p=21533518
It is an alphabetical list by EP, a Canadian sketcher. For Y she put "yesterday - sketch a scene from memory that happened yesterday. Besides Gene and I sitting around we had the Honeybee cleaners in to clean the house. That is more interesting than Gene and I doing nothing. I just sketched in the big book with a Micron 01 fine line marker/pen.
Number 1, yesterday - Honeybee wiping the baseboards
Number 2, hairbrush and Number 3, nail or fingernail
That took care of Y, H and N. Only 23 more to go.....
I had sketched one of the Honeybees in December 2017 from life. Believe it or not, I didn't look at this before I started today and almost sketched the girl with the long duster again. Good thing, I have a new sketch in the big book.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Good sketches of the Honeybee lady. Maybe you can send her over here so I can sketch her too. :) I will have to get started on EP's list.
you must be getting close to filling the big book now?
That is a great sketch from memory Jo! Very impressive. Cold day today for us, when my son left for school he said he wanted to live somewhere warm when he grows up. 😀
Hi Joan, thanks. It is sure nice to have the Honeybees. We will miss eating out before we cancel their help. :-)
Jennifer Rose, I'm getting close to half done. I should have done one side only. Evil grin. It has been a learning experience. I try not to double up items too much but we only have so many tables or chairs. Ha. Thanks.
Rose, your son is my smile for today. You can send him out to visit. He has forgotten how hot the summer is where it is warm in the winter! Thank you for the nice comment on the sketch. Maybe from paper doll days. Do kids still make paper dolls?
Sketching from memory is an art in itself!!!!! Wonderful sketches..... it’s about 17 degrees here today...perfect time to stay home and paint...
Enjoy your day.....
hmuxo, oh yikes! I cannot even imagine that cold. Take care, looking forward to your new paintings....
Nicely done. I think it would've been fun if you'd sketched the same person so you could compare them. :-)
Joanna, thanks. It would be fun to sketch the same person. I'm not sure which Bee was doing the dusting this time. Just a memory thing....
This has been a busy week for my CTAC stuff. Still, I have been lazy with my painting. I do love it that you sketch so much.
Bag Blog, sketching so much is partly guilt and somewhat like homework. It isn't always good. I should pay more attention sometimes to actually learn and not just put ink on paper. It is a good habit and hopefully I apply the ink and get some good out of it.
