Somebody's Doing Something.....

You know what a procrastinator I am.  You belong to my club for procrastinators don't you?  Maybe secretly?

I was reminded of this today.  Greg Whitfield will be with George Ensle at the Saxon Pub today at 3:00 p.m.  I doubt he will perform this song, but it should be my theme song:

Greg is wearing an old retro t-shirt from The Bugle Boy, too.

Greg and George are super and so is The Bugle Boy in La Grange, Texas.  Head out to the Saxon Pub in Austin, Texas, today and The Bugle Boy next weekend.

That could be my theme song for sure!

Bag Blog, I laughed when I found that song. He has written songs for children for each letter of the alphabet, hopefully he will have the CD next time we see Greg. If so, I'll get you one.

Interesting post, Jo. I'm trying to steer a middle course (or is that just an excuse for not doing more art?) between being lax about art projects and being too hard on myself for an irregular schedule. Just lately there have been too many doctor appointments eating into free time (a scourge of aging, even though I'm fairly healthy overall--thankfully).

Speaking of age, I enjoyed your earlier post about finding both travel and the organizing to get ready to travel more difficult than it used to be. Amen to that! We just give ourselves more time and try not to get frustrated with our reduced efficiency. So glad you got all your stuff back after that rest stop incident; thanks for the warning to all the rest of us.

Mary, thanks. Yes, life gets in the way of art sometimes. I like what you said about being too hard on yourself. I am very guilty of that. Good reminder to do a bit better..... Maybe I could paint! Nice to see you.
