Spiraling ... Sketch

Not exactly spiraling, but sketching a spiral notebook or sketchbook was on the list.  I decided to sketch in the big book and make a page of progress.  For eyeglasses, I put Gene's folding glasses and his case on the table.  I put a pencil and Micron pen on my sketchbook for the next 3 items.  The Hunt started on November 4.  I'm a late starter.

There has been some chatter and beautiful fall color photographs posted on blogs, wetcanvas, and other social media.

I thought you all would love to see our fall colors.  These two trees are the most changed in our block.  The summer weather continued until a day or so ago.  We are having 2 or 3 days of late fall or early winter and will then go back to very early fall.  Looks like the leaves won't change much and just fall off whenever we get a freeze.

Friday we will be back in shorts and have the doors and windows open.  Today it is about 57, which is pretty chilly when it has been in the mid 80s.  I do like wearing sweatshirts or flannel shirts.

Time for some beans and chile!

Nice setup and sketch! The weather in so strange. It was chilly here today...a high of about 54 today. Tomorrow it should be down below freezing in the morning. Brrr.....I'm not ready.

Thanks so much, Joan. We don't have many freezing days here as you know. I feel for you. My fingers and toes get so cold! Take care.

Jennifer Rose, thanks. Gene has used the folding glasses for years. Never broke a pair! He has "misplaced" them occasionally. :) I had the tiny ones in a tube given to me by my son years ago for my purse. I think the folding ones have outlasted the straight smaller lens ones.
