Hunt 498 Sketches and Doggie Photos

Sketches for Scavenger Hunt 498
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1428184

I sketched, way too quickly in the big sketchbook with the Micron 01 pen.  I got lost in the corners and on the couch.  I should have started with pencil.  Too boring and too slow for just sketches.  I was in a hurry.  What for?  You might ask.  Just 'cause!

Number 7, couch with the cover and Nala on it.  You wouldn't recognize either one!
Number 8, corner - the raised ceiling
Number 9, draped cloth - the curtains, easiest of the sketches.  I have always liked to draw dresses and things like that.

I'm always looking for ways to be inspired.  There are some interesting ideas on the Empty Easel blog, 3 Strategies for Staying Creative and Productive As an Artist.

We are dog sitting, as you know.  Nala the bigger dog is in the kennel/cage that is used for the small dogs when we go out.  I guess it smells of home and feels safe.  She is a worrier.  Jumps at any noise.  It makes me smile to see her calm and relaxed.  Chewie wants in my lap and Romeo is happy napping in his cage.

The Horns play tonight in California in their Regional.  First game against UCLA.  The Horns swept them early in the season.  Hard to beat the same team 4 times in a row.  We shall see.  The State of Texas got in more teams than any other state.  Amazing.  Schedules and results on the NCAA site.

We got my mom's other little dog. He is a bit nervous and yappy. Hopefully he will settle down.

Bag Blog, hope so quickly. It has taken Nala about 3 stays to get fairly calm. She still doesn't like when Gene has a cane. Someone must have hit her with a stick..... Poor thing. She is very spoiled now, however. Ha.
