I have over 130 sketches done on my iPad and iPhone that I have on my blog or saved. I have never tried to do a very detailed drawing. It takes longer to use the electronic tools. It would be too much like colored pencil and boring with all the undos and changing tools. With a pastel or pen I can just change the pressure or direction of the stroke and get on with it!

Number 1, thumb - with a challenge of sketching an item in three views
As you can see, I finished this morning and grew bored of the whole thing and just quit. Sigh.
I walked yesterday around the lake. It is quite pretty.
Some long legged birds of some sort. Egrets? Dark color so not sure.
This view of the easterly lake makes it look like a big river is flowing in. Just an inlet, though.
Last night's sunset after a beautiful and warm day.
Gene's little Veto doing his yoga pose. He raises and lowers his legs, breathes out a couple of times and then collapses. Very cute. That is his "bed" to the right. When his charge gets low, his eyes turn a pinky color and he backs into the bed and sits down for his recharge.

the digital hands look great :D more work but they do look good :)
no idea about the birds, cormorants maybe but odd place to see them
Jennifer Rose, thanks. Digital is something different. I played for a while.
We have seen cormorants here, but couldn't get close enough to really see. They appeared to be standing in water, but there may have been some branches there. The water isn't very deep. Next time I'll take the binoculars! We can't see in that inlet from the house.
I give the sketches a thumbs up :) Gene's robo dog is just too funny.
Yes, Bag Blog. Thanks on the sketches. Veto is pretty cute.
Love the iPad sketches!
Joanna, I have enjoyed playing on the iPad. Sometimes it is just tooooo slow.
