Number 4, landscape - toward the fire station
Number 5, stone/rocks - under the bridge
Number 6, a house - our house from the bridge
We see people fishing in the lakes, there is a catch and release policy. It looks like the birds do not release:
This is about a foot long. Pretty good size it seems to me.
The fish was near this new flat bridge which was handy to keep me out of the mud of the overflow. You can see that the lakes are still full!
Looking across to the flat bridge from my drawing bridge ... not a draw bridge. My sketch was the view looking to the left of this spot.
Our house from the bridge. This was in the early fall before the big tree lost its leaves, I forgot to take a new photo yesterday. Close to the same view as my sketch. The sky was the same with no clouds. The wind is blowing again now. Pbftttt.

The area is still very green compared to here. I did a quick watercolor of the pasture view from the house. It seemed beautiful when looking at it, but kind of dull when painted - lots of raw sienna and burnt umber.
really great sketches :) would love to be so close to the water :D
Bag Blog, we have had warmer times than you have. The leaves are gone off the trees now. Be sure and put in some purples with your yellows the siennas and umbers.
Jennifer Rose, our lakes aren't big enough for much, but we do get birds, turtles and more.
Nice sketches. The fish carcass is interesting!
Thanks, Joanna. I was surprised to the the carcass right on the trail.
