Number 1, view out a window. There is a challenge to draw the view in at the same window. It is 46.9 degrees out on the porch so won't be drawing that view for a few days. I left room for it. :)
Number 2, light fixture - I substituted the lamp since it was just sitting there. I don't know why we bought this lamp. It is pretty ornate for my taste. It doesn't really go with anything, but I liked it and it seems to fit somehow.
I mentioned that we drew names for Christmas. Jennie got me a painting that I really like. Lou Baggett, Bag Blog http://bagwag.blogspot.com/ to you on my blog, painted it. It is fun that it is from around Macchu Pichu. She painted it on her trip there or when she got back. It fits in my world. Lou and I have traded paintings, too, so now I have three of hers. All houses or buildings. Very nice. Thank you, Jennie.
Oh, when I went to get a photo of it, I noticed that she posted it to her sale site on my birthday. Had to get it, right?

yeah 8c is a little chilly to be outside sketching without freezing fingers :p you did a great job with the view out a window, can be challenging to make it look right
that is a lovely painting to have :D love the colours
Jennifer Rose, thank you so much. There is a challenge to do it from outside looking in but a bit chilly at 29 degrees today.
The painting is fun. Bag Blog and I have been blogging friends since I started and we have met and become good friends in the real world, too, so the painting is close to my heart. We have been to Macchu Picchu many times, too. All good.
