It is pretty quiet here for sketching for the new Hunt. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1418602
I made the list and am hosting this Hunt. Our granddogs are here through the weekend, so I was sure to put "dog" on the list. I also did an alphabetical list and put "queen" so did a sketch of the female in the bunch for that. We need a list of 26 items. By doing the alphabetical list I can get 26 items and not have to count!
Number 1, Christmas card - I hung them on ribbons between the kitchen and dining/living room
Number 2, dog - Romeo is the smallest of the three dogs. Chewbacca is a bit larger and in the previous post.
Number 3, queen - Nala, the largest and female. She is not really too queen like, she is a rescue dog and very nervous and afraid. She is sweet when she can relax. We sure know in a hurry if she hears a strange noise. Loud bark!! Chewbacca is noisier, in general, he is always playing and begging!
Number 4, bubble gum - when I made the list, Larry was here. He chews bubble gum all the time. Doesn't blow bubbles, though. Hmmm.
Number 5, peppermints
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

I saw a video on FB about a procrastination study. I'll try to find it again and post it so you won't miss it. Maybe I'll do that in a little while :) Anyway, it said to take a little break before starting something. Hmm, I think the problem is taking too many breaks.
I love the dog sketches.
great dog sketches :D can you even blow bubble with dentyne? I can't chew gum, not good or the jaw or my horrible teeth lol :p
Thanks for reminding me that I need to get the latest hunt list. How great to have animals just in time to sketch them. lol Good job!
Bag Blog, you and I seem to be about the same on procrastination .. no, I have you beat. Breaks do not help!!
Thanks on the dogs, they have been fun .... so far. :)
Jennifer Rose, no bubbles with Dentyne. Our son was here and got bubble gum in his stocking so I put it on the list. Then he left and so no bubbles! I can only chew any gum about 5 minutes and then I get crazy.
Joan, thanks. I put dog on the list because they are here. Usually I have to draw a stuffed animal.
