Here is the deal from Jeanne, out in Bakersfield, California:
Hi all. Hold onto your hats. I have decided to revisit another of the past hunts. This is my all time favorite hunt. It was hunt #26 and the list and challenge was posted by our founder Jamie. The challenge seemed so horrifying at first but I had so much fun doing it that I have wanted another. Rather than try to figure out a new one, this one rose to the occasion.
Please don't feel obligated to comment on EVERYTHING...we just like to see your sketches......
If you've participated in at least one Scavenger Hunt and have time to host one, we'd really appreciated it. You can sign up by posting your name on the current hosting list in the Art from Life forum:
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=366347
In case you don't know them already, here are the rules for the Hunt:
*All items on the list must be sketched from life - not imagination or photo references.
*Each object you draw can count for only one item on the list, no matter how many shapes/parts/colors that object contains. This was agreed on by unanimous vote among the participants.
*You may place multiple objects together in a drawing or painting, and may count those objects as separate items, but no single object can count for more than one list item.
*All items posted must be numbered. Count them as you go. The first item you sketch and post will be #1 regardless of its place on the list. Do them in whatever order you wish, but count them in the order in which you sketch then, from 1 to 26.
Do as many or as few items as you like. you don't have to finish the entire list to participate! The Scavenger Hunt "week" will last for 9 days, with the next hunt on the 9th day.
Please tell us your size, surface, medium, and the amount of time it took you to do each sketch. We love hearing about your subjects and setups. Photos of your subjects are welcome.
Please note commenting is not required. Comments and chat are always welcome but if you don’t have the time or inclination, feel free to simply post your images. (You can also comment on only the last page or two, if you like.)

I have a special challenge for this week. (The challenge is totally optional.) All of the items have been selected so that they can fit into a single painting or drawing. Yep, that's right! Get out that HUGE sheet of paper you've been saving. Even a large piece of newsprint or a cut up paper bag should do just fine. A full sheet of watercolor or fine drawing paper would be awesome. Use a canvas and oils if you'd like. You can do either all or just part of the list this way and still count it as completion of the challenge.
1. Position the items on the shelves or cabinet. Take a pic to show us if you'd like. Select your surface to work on.
2. Sketch/paint the items one at a time, or in small groups, just as you would for any other scavenger hunt. Take pics of your work as you go, so you can number them and show us the items as you do them. We will be seeing cropped versions of the entire piece as you continue to work on it.
3. When you've finished, take a photo so that we can see the completed work with all the items you've included in the challenge.
I hope some of you will take up the challenge. I will understand if you can’t. Thanks, Jeanne

She has posted this several times. I have never tried the whole thing but decided to do it this time. I do after all have a HUGE sketchbook.
Here is the setup. Minus the cup, which I forgot. I added it in the ink sketch, but it is a bit thin.
Pencil sketch which I usually don't do. It is very light, sorry.
And the sketch in ink, Micron 03. I may add more ink as I add color. We will see what happens.
I picked up some sea shells at either Lake Michigan or Lake Superior this summer to use for the Hunts as the one I had burned. They were very small and I have not found them as yet so for sea shell I substituted the Inca bottle on the right that is shaped somewhat like a scallop shell. The wire elephant is for silver Not sure anything else needs explaining. Oh, the watch is for clock and the small ring by the watch is gemstone. It was aquamarine but burned in the fire so maybe it is a diamond now!

Wow! You did it! An all in one sketch! Is that your big sketch book?
Yes! I added color and will take a photo soon. I used watercolor and the paper wrinkled a bit so have it closed to flatten it. :(
good job sketching all of that in the monster of a sketchbook :D
Thanks, Jennifer Rose. I will be working on that book for some time, eh?
