I didn't sketch for Scavenger Hunt 453. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1406380
An item on the Hunt was a toy with wheels. I couldn't think of any, so I'm substituting this unfinished painting as a sketch with the wheels of the pickups. The pickup on the right looks more like a sedan but it would end up more like a pickup if I finish the painting. I probably will wipe it off and do something else on the Pastelbord. Good practice.
Number 11, toy with wheels - well sort of. I imagine pickups are like toys to some folks.
My scene with Robin painting to the left. I was thinking of putting her in the sketch.
A couple of the artists, we were painting in front of the Mary Nichols Art Center.
A snap of me.
And another....

I take so few photos when I get started, but thankful for a few memories.

Gene has been riding his trike almost every day. He likes it a lot. I do a short walk and he passed me yesterday.
The century plant down the road is getting fuller and ready to open the white blooms. Hope it opens before we take off in a few weeks. It has been slow. Ah, fits the name.
Jennifer Rose asked where we are going in Canada. We will start with Waterloo, Ontario, to visit Papi Jim. Then slip down to Niagara Falls for a second visit. Hope to go around the Great Lakes again, through to Regina and then visit cousins in Montana and Colorado to end up in New Mexico before returning home. We will see how it goes!

Niagara On The Lake, Ontario is beautiful with all its wineries. If you have not been, it is only a short distance from the falls. I wish we were going to Canada too.
Bag Blog, we have been to the falls, but not the Lake. Will check it out. Maybe we can meet you someplace when we get out west and start back into the US.
Glad you had a good day painting. I have had a baked good or two at that bakery and they are tasty. :-)
I hope the century plant blooms for youse guys!
Joanna, thank you. The bakery was good, I had eaten there before, too. It changed owners in May but still fresh and good.
Looking forward to the white blooms!
