Sketches, Surprise!

I did three very quick sketches this morning in the large sketchbook with the Prismacolor 01 for Scavenger Hunt 426.  I should have taken more time to make practice worthwhile.  Sigh....

Number 8, doll - from Bolivia, the only doll in our house.  Lots of stuffed animals!
Number 9, made of wood - an easel
Number 10, made of plastic - spray bottle

I also took a photo instead of using the scanner so I could finish quickly.  We are expecting company.  Fun!!

doesn't matter how quick you sketched, you still managed to work your brain and hands to create something :)

Jennifer, ha! Guess you are right. I at least got a blog posted! Thanks.

As always, Jo, I have enjoyed browsing your blog and especially like your rendering of the Bolivian doll.

Also was very glad to hear that you and yours got through the recent flooding ok. It certainly looked terrible in some Texas areas in the news coverage.

I'm behind in my comments. Great sketches as usual. I was feeling like I hadn't done anything creative lately, but actually I do everything my students do. Maybe I should post pics.

Mary, thank you. Appreciate your concern. I was mentioning to Gene that we sort of forget about the families that are still not in their homes and lost so much. Sad.

Bag Blog, thanks for stopping in. I would love to see a pic once in a while! They always inspire.
