Are we lost and forgotten? We were in Velarde, New Mexico, with no telephone and very sketchy internet for 3 days. Before that my cousins had invaded us. Yes, that is the right word, invaded! We were very close as kids and then they moved to Colorado when I was in 5th grade. They are from my Dad's side and are the crazy bunch. We had a great time. I will post more about our projects.
In the meantime, I sketched a bit for Scavenger Hunt 420 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1388016 I sketched in the regular sketchbook with the Micron 05.
Number 2, timepiece
Number 3, thumb
Number 4, tall - floor lamp in our adobe casita
Number 5, table - one leg missing the knob
Number 6, treasure - sub this chest of wood with tile top for treasure chest
Number 7, tassle - on the cloth on top of the chest
These all in Velarde, New Mexico
Number 8, triangle in the light cover in the entry
Number 9, tissue
These in Albuquerque. (ABQ) and numbered wrong as you can see.
More down the road with some photos of the beautiful places we have been and some stories.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

You've been busy there. Nice!
Excellent sketches Jo! Something I never do but should!!
Glad to know you survived the relatives. I'm still hanging in there too.
Did you see in "Pastel" magazine that there is an exhibition of Frank Reaugh's work at the Harry Ransom Center at UT? That is something I would like to see.
Joan, "busy" is relative. Been busy doing nothing. Ha.
Hmuxo, thank you so much.
Bag Blog, that would be great if you came to Austin! We still have a few relatives in the area to check out before we head home. :) We are at Gene's sisters and hoping to visit my sister once more.

Jennifer Rose. Thanks. How are you feeling? I haven't been reading blogs. Hope you are well.
