Salsa Stuff, Too in Acrylics

A friend and collector liked a painting I did a few years ago.  She asked if I could replicate it for her.  The original painting was a pastel.  She wanted it to have on her kitchen counter so preferred that it didn't have glass over the painting.

This is the painting in acrylic.  Not exactly the same, but hopefully I captured the rich feeling of the pastels that she liked in the first one.  She will pick it up at Art Connections this week and we will find out!

Salsa Stuff, Too
Acrylic on RayMar canvas panel, 10 x 8 inches

I took the photo before it was varnished so there would not be a glare.  It is a bit richer with the semi gloss varnish.

Bag Blog, thank you so much. Since we are getting ready to travel I don't have any salsa stuff on hand. You made me hungry though and I'm going to go look, I think I have some from Sadie's in Albuquerque ........ looking now.....

Joan, thank you.

Joanna, thanks. Not always easy to do "do overs" even though it is pretty different in the veggies. :)

Hi, Regina! Thank you so much. It makes me feel good that you still have and enjoy the painting. Hugs.
