Hunting Water Sketch

I sketched on the porch again this morning.  I am lazy as you all know, so I sketched on the iPad rather than get up off my chair to go get a sketchbook.  I used the app, Brushes.  I noticed how much more water we can see from the porch so will post an old one from February.  What a change!

Number 4, contains water - the lake out back

And from February when it was dry and more cloudy.

This is from a different angle, but you can tell from the three trees how much more water is there.

I like the iPad sketches. Hopefully I will get a new Kindle soon so I can try some sketching on the Fire.

I like the iPad sketches too. I'm amazed at how much water is in the lakes. Wow.

I think this is hard to do (I have a tablet not ipad) and time consuming. So I think this is a brilliant outcome

Bag Blog, you will have a good time with your Fire. It is about as addictive as games. Ha.

Joanna, fun to see the lakes near capacity. The upper lake is full of course and ran into the second. It is near full which is why the trail was blocked. It is probably passable now as the water quit running.

Polly, thank you. If I spent more time on these, they would be much better. Have you seen the portraits and all online. Wow. I try to keep my playing to look like sketches so "only" spend about 30 - 45 minutes on them. I try not to use the undo much to keep the free lines, etc.

that is a lot of water and a big improvement between the 2 sketches in such a short time :)

Jennifer Rose, we got most of the rain in a week, we had 5 inches scattered out over the week and then a little over 5 inches in about 1.5 hours! Very interesting!
