Upcoming Bastrop Events and Sketches for Hunt 398

March 22, Sunday

April 11, Saturday

I sketched at the table this morning.  My sketching and handwriting are not up to par today.  I must be that I am in a gloomy mood, it is cloudy.  Also the Loblolly yellow/green pollen started so we had to bring in all the furniture from the porch and cannot have the windows open because the yellow gunk comes through the screens.  It is like the powdered sugar on the cake above but a yellowy color and when it gets wet it stains.  Not nice.  So a nice temperature of 70-75 and we are closed up!

I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 398 in the large book with a Micron 05 pen.

Number 3, glass

We have rain/mist today and just a bit chilly. I thought I was back in Scotland with the cold and wet. I had a terrible day trying to get a new phone. I was fairly patient, but it was hard on me.

Hi Bag Blog, new phones are never easy to get and never easy to get used to. I was thinking of you. One of Gene's sayings was, "God, give me patience, and right now!"

That pollen sure is a pain!

Hi, Joanna. Yes, the pollen is not nice. The trees are, though. Guess there is always something, good and bad.
