iPad Sketch for Hunt 396

I sometimes sketch on the iPad.  I find it fun, but I can get involved and spend too much time on what I plan as a simple sketch.  Not today.  I sketched on Brushes for about 15 minutes for Scavenger Hunt 396.  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1374037

You can see that I used a wider brush because the corners of the box are rounded off and I didn't want to go small and take too long.  Number 4, from my nightstand - box of tissues

This seems to be a muscovy duck.  We have never seen one here in our yard.  We have a lot of bird activity today.  We have seen the blue heron, the egret, some buzzards, bluebirds, wrens, crows, doves, etc.  I think because it is warm about 65 degrees and will fall to the high 20s tonight.  Yikes! We will have had about 24 hours of 60 degrees since yesterday afternoon and it will cool quickly after 5.  No sun though, still cloudy and gloomy.    Only in Texas, they say, you can wear flip flops and a parka in the same day.  Maybe at the same time!

It started raining in the wee hours of the morning. Then about 10 AM it started sleeting. Toby came home from work about 3 PM because the roads were getting so bad. Ice everywhere. Now it is snowing big fat flakes. Tomorrow it is suppose to warm up. Anything above 32 is considered warm. I can live with it.

We have had about four deer grazing on the other side of the pond. We also have a coyote or two that hang around - probably waiting on my fat dogs to come out and play.

Bag Blog, that is cool for me. I don't miss snow at all. Evil grin. Our low was 30 last night and it is 39 already with some sun. First sun in over a week I think! Feels nice.

Nice to see the deer, not so much coyotes. They are sneaky.
