Hunt 390 - Already!

I'm not sure where the time goes.  This week was lost to having a cold.  I did manage to catch up on our recorded TV programs and movies.  Not good for my art world, however.

Scavenger Hunt 390 is already in full swing.  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?p=20344667&posted=1#post20344667  It runs from January 13 - January 21.  I sketched in the large sketchbook with a Micron 05 pen, about 15 minutes.

Number 1, personal grooming item - fingernail kit from my purse.  I see I cut off the info when I scanned it.  I did them both a few minutes ago.
Number 2, my most exotic lamp - a dark bronze lamp with a coppery colored shade.  It is not that tall.  I'm not sure why I bought it.  We were in the RV before we found a house and I just decided to get it at a consignment store.  It sort of fits in our mishmash of stuff.

Today I feel better and need to paint, work on my news for the show, etc.  Gene needs to feel better so he can frame my paintings.  Hopefully today is recovery day to 100%.  Well, 80% would help!

We are going to the doctor, although a bit late.  Then we have to get a few groceries since we haven't been out.  Thank goodness we don't have snow or ice.  It is about 38 degrees and supposed to get up to 45 degrees then get warmer through the week.  Yay!!

It has been cold here. I can live with cold as long as we don't have snow and ice. I'm getting to be quite the fire builder. Unfortunately, my studio is not in front of the fire.

I hope you and Gene are well soon.

Bag Blog, thank you. We are better and I've been thinking that I would have procrastinated the time away so my lost week isn't much more than normal!

Ah, wood fires are so comforting. You can take your breaks there.

My friend, Enid, sent this: "One of my mentors once said that he catches a cold when he needs to slow down to learn something. Ever since, I've viewed a cold as a gift."

Gene's brother wanted to know what I had learned. :)

I don't need a cold to make me slow down. I do that quite well all the time. What would make me speed up?

Bag Blog, I'm sure I don't know how to speed up! If you figure it out, let me know!

Hope you get back to 100% soon.

The two of you are being quite entertaining in the comments.
