Sketching Texture

I was looking for something to sketch this morning and noticed Sonja entranced at the back door.

She just stood there for a long time. A perfect model!

Rough Texture - Sonja's hair

We are having a thankful and fun time here. The weather overall has been good even if it is cool compared to home.

What a perfect model! A charming little portrait and I do like the texture you've created for his coat.

I think I may need a vacation after this holiday. It has been fun, but I am worn out.

Mary, thank you. Our grand-dogs in Texas are only still when they are asleep! Fun to get one in an upright position.

Bag Blog, I know what you mean! I' m sure we will need time to recoup, too.

What a cutie and so nice of her to stand and model for you! Enjoy your time there.

Joan, Sonja is like a little sentinel. I couldn't believe how long she stands there. Hope you are having a good holiday, too.

Fun sketch, Mom! Who does Sonja belong to?

Hi, Joanna. Sonja is David's and Lisa's dog. Pretty set in her ways. :)
