Number 3, with holes - my galic keeper, gift from Jennie. I see as I look at it in this smaller photo that the keeper isn't that large compared to the napkins. I didn't notice in the bigger sketch. Interesting. I see it now!
Stuffed

I have my desktop set to all my photos on my computer. Just now an old painting came on. It made me smile. It is pastel on sanded paper. Gene gives me little stuffed animals on holidays and these sat on this little shelf in my studio at the other house. So cute. Just a memory now....... a good one. It seems to me as I grow older most memories are good ones. That is OK with me. Smiling.

In a college drawing class the professor had us bring stuffed animals. He made a huge setting/display of the animals brought to class. Then with a view finder, we chose a portion of the stuffed animals to paint with pastels. During the critique of these paintings, the prof said our paintings were too soft and made us do another one with crisper lines. It was one of the best lessons I ever learned. My painting turned out pretty nice and made the end-of-the-year show. Later, I gave that painting to my cousin when she had her first baby. Now it hangs in her grandbabies room.
Bag Blog, ahh, good lesson. I got my lesson from Helen Van Wyk on PBS. She painted with oils, but basically the same principles. I would like to see yours....
Love the "Stuffed" painting. It is a very good memory.
