Scavenger Hunt 337 and Photos

I sketched a bit for Scavenger Hunt 337.  Regular tools and added a bit of marker for color.  It sort of covers the ink.  These are very quick sketches freehand.

We went to Dallas on the weekend.  A trio we admire, the Carper Family, were appearing on the Garrison Keillor Prairie Home Companion.  We have always liked the show and we like the Carper Family so why not just go?  The Carper Family are so much fun.  Follow the link and listen a bit. It was a super show in the Music Hall at Fair Park.  Very nice old hall with many folks in the audience.  It was very dark for photos, but maybe you can get an idea of the huge place.  We were in the pit, third row.  Very nice seats!!

There was a group called Los Texmaniacs that were really good.  They had a drummer, accordian, and two guitars.  Very energetic and fun.  The accordian player said he started playing when he was 2, and he was exciting to hear and watch.

We went to dinner afterwards with Gene's nephew and his wife, Ernie and Denise.  That was fun, too.  We don't get to see them very often.

Sorry for the fuzzy photos, it was just too dark.

A panorama on Gene's phone, balcony folks across the top.
Had to come back and add this Dallas Skyline photo as we went from I-35 to I-30.

I saw a special on the Prairie Home Companion - it looked like it would be fun to see. I love it that you and Gene traveled to Dallas to see it. Toby is not much for big cities.

Bag Blog, That is an old program. We have listened on Saturday evenings for years. Not so much lately as TV takes over evenings. We didn't do much in downtown Dallas for sure. There was quite a bit of traffic even on Saturday. It was fun.
