A Few Sketches for Hunt 332

First the sketches for Scavenger Hunt 332.  Thursday we went to San Marcos for Gene to have his three month shot and checkup.  We were going to have lunch at the Texas Roadhouse, but it is not open for lunch.  We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Palmers Restaurant Bar and Courtyard.
 http://www.palmerstexas.com/
It is a very nice restaurant, quiet, good food and service.  We have been several times and have not been disappointed.

One of our items for the Hunt was something on a shelf.  The shelf in our room at the restaurant had some interesting vases, so I sketched in my small sketchbook with a Pilot ball point pen.

Number 3, something on a shelf.

This morning I sketched on the porch as is my norm.  I used the Prismacolor Premier pen in the Canson sketchbook.

Number 4, something on a window sill - one of Gene's speakers
Number 5, something from the yard - the wheelbarrow on the side of the shed, or what I could see of it.
Number 6, something that reminds you of fall - scarecrow decoration

In the afternoon we picked up chairs for the concert.  Bev and Joe of Arhaven http://arhaven.org/ loaned them to us.  We have been to their House Concerts a few times.  It is great to listen to performers with no smoking, no talking and be able to meet the artists.  If you haven't been to a concert in listening room, you should try it.

We still have room in our Sunday concert, see above for on-line reservations or call me, 512 629-9264.

Where's the scarecrow from?

Joanna, we got the scarecrow to put by the welcome sign last fall. I put real pumpkins but the sun took care of them too quickly, so this year, only decorative stuff! Ha.
