Hour Cow
7 x 5 inches, Pastel on Pastelbord
I should remind you here that I take photos of my pastel paintings out on the patio, flat, in the direct sun. That way I rarely have to correct the colors in Photoshop. These are very similar without correcting. You should try that sometime.
Here is the previous photo so you can compare.
First Hour Cow
I sketched out on the porch for Scavenger Hunt 328. It started on September 4, I'm late, I'm late ......
Number 1, junction - a corner of the porch with the wall, screen, outside wall and window. Confusing I know.
Number 2, fist - challenge 3 views.
Number 3, back of camera and Number 4, front of camera - I substituted my iPhone as it has a pretty good camera and was handy.

Both cows are nice, but the The Hour Plus Cow is definitely improved. It is amazing what little touches do for a painting.
Hi Bag Blog, thank you. It is amazing, especially true if there are any straight lines involved like on a doorway. :)
The cow looks lovely - great job, Jo!
Regina, thank you so much. It has been a long dry spell.
Pretty cool how small changes can make big differences.
Joanna, thank you. It is amazing. Just the highlight on the eye makes it look round. Maybe that is why it is so hard to decide when a painting is finished.
