Very Few Alaska Sketches

I managed to do a few more sketches that fit in Scavenger Hunt 276.  I used the little watercolor kit and a Prismacolor Premier 08 fine line marker/pen.

 Number 1, blue - Gene in his rain jacket and other jacket.  I got it confused and it looks like one huge parka.  The joys of my sketching!

Number 2, green - the intense green of the tundra over the permafrost.  Number 3, orange - the midnight sun on the not so white buildings in Deadhorse.  Thanks to Bag Blog for the idea of the orange wash first. 

I am back in our Texas  routine, sort of, for the moment.  We will be hitting the road again soon.  I am the host for Scavenger Hunt 277.  Come on by and sketch with us and meet some great artists from around the world.  See you there!
