Number 8 (actually, I put 7) china - one of the white with blue trim cups we had. It is now much grayer and dingier than my sketch. It has pieces of melted glass stuck to it and is very rough and burned looking.
I have spent time, lots of time hampered by FOMO (fear of missing out). Thankfully it is mostly in the past. At my advanced age I am finally discovering that I can be happy with who I am as an artist and work toward improving and sharing my work with the people that count.
Several articles I've read lately have been advising artists to focus on your own clients. Someone in New York City in a super modern apartment will not be buying one of my Texas or New Mexico landscapes. Nice Brushes sketch.
Glad you're getting over your FOMO. Hugs...
The sketch is OK, thanks. I should try a more finished painting with the iPad one of these times.
Yeah, that FOMO sneaks in once in a while. For the most part, I am happy with where I am. I do try to get better all the time.
